Friday warm-up but it comes with a price: very high to extreme fire danger.

Cold air retreats to our northeast on Friday, allowing southwest winds to return to Texoma. 850 mb temperatures surge to around +10 to +16° C and with plenty of sunshine, highs will easily reach the 70s. However, the fire danger will become a concern in the afternoon as relative humidity values fall to between 10-25% and south winds shift to the west throughout the day. Max wind speeds of 15-25 mph with gusts to 30 mph are possible.
